The Political Action Committee, "Communities Against the 710 Freeway," is hosting an informational forum on Wednesday, September 23, from 7 p.m. to 9 p. m. The event will take place at the South Pasadena Library Community Room, located at 1115 El Centro Street.

Interest in the 710 is exploding, as more local citizens than ever before, are getting involved to do battle with the financially-motivated forces lining-up to destroy local communities and neighborhoods.

Bill Graham, a Director with "Communities Against the 710," will lead a discussion on the proposed tunnel option, the issue of air quality, and the Caltrans-owned properties.

A question-and-answer period will follow the discussion, which will include transportation & traffic experts, political activists and community representatives.

"Communities Against The 710 Freeway" is a Political Action Committee (PAC) dedicated to the defeat of the proposed 710 Freeway Extension, the equally destructive surface freeway, and ill-conceived, 12-billion-dollar tunnel.

The PAC actively supports alternatives to the 710, through legislative involvement, issue advocacy, and educational activity.
